Lady Pirates win First Hoop Legacy Game

Lady Pirates win First Hoop Legacy Game

The girls beat Natalia in their first home game appearance with the score of 53-31 to take home the trophy.I was amazed how the kids react to the Legacy Bowl for football so I wanted to create some of the that for the basketball girls. This was our first year to play them in Basketball and with them having a new head coach was perfect for starting a new tradition. We came out looking great on defense and breaking the press. The weekend before playing in the South San Tourney prepared us for this game. This was a great TEAM win with everyone getting valuable minutes on the court. Lauren Gomez led the team with 14 and Valencia Ramos which was MVP of the game had 12. Tatianna Flores added 9 and Sam Dear and Autumn Frias put in 5. I would like to thank Olympia Trophy for donating the trophy and the MVP medals. The girls will play at home on Tuesday against a tough Southside team game time 6:30. The girls are now 2-6 for the season. Go Pirates!!!!
